Palm Scriptures (Tamra Phra Osod Phra Narai, 1659) dating all the way back to the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, an ancient Siamese civilization (1351 to 1767), recorded age-old recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation of Thai healing and wellness.
Whether as tonics or ointments, each recipe in the Palm Scriptures emphasized the holistic balance of energy flow within our body and with the natural world. From our ancestors to our grandparents, Thai wellness traditions paid homage to the potency and vitality of nature with rituals using herbs, flower oils and crushed roots, and applied them through kneading hands along routes of energy.

A young boy watched as his grandmother infused jasmine petals in an earthen jar of cool rainwater. It was a time of serenity that stayed with Vorravit Siripark, our Founder, throughout his life and inspired his lifelong fascination with the power of aroma and the heritage of Thai wellness traditions.
After returning to Bangkok in 2003, world-weary and mentally fatigued, Vorravit rediscovered the harmony he had always been seeking in the heritage of Thai wellness traditions, leading to the birth of PAÑPURI. By growing the roots of physical, mental, spiritual and environmental harmony, PAÑPURI recognizes that all aspects of the self, including our relationship with the world, are interdependent of one another.
PAÑPURI is derived from ancient Pali and Sanskrit, the roots of the Thai language.
‘Panna’ which means wisdom, inferring how we draw from Thai heritage and contemporary knowledge to deliver holistic wellness solutions.
‘Puri’, a holy city in India and a site of pilgrimage, signifies purity and how the PAÑPURI experience is powered by the potency of nature for the harmony of the body, mind and soul.
